Personal Message from Coach Andy:
Good times ahead for the Gator’s 2012 season. I grew up in the D.C. Metropolitan area and moved to Bothell my senior year where I graduated from BHS in 1998. I have been married to Sara Hay for 5 plus years who I met coaching. We welcomed our first child (Big Tuna; 22 lb calico cat) 4 years ago. I have been a swim instructor since 1996 and coaching since 1998. I am an avid Maryland, Orioles and Redskins fan and only ask that any NY or Duke representation stay off the deck. In my free time I own Hay Wealth Management in Bellevue and am the Executive Director of the Marin Morrison Foundation. I took this position mostly because I love working with Vicki Weatherbie but I also find that if I am not actively coaching more than 354 days a year I feel funny.

Age Group Coach: Vicki Weatherbie This will be Vicki's third year with the Kingsgate Gators Swim team. Coach Vicki loves the sport of swimming. She has been a coach for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in both club and recreational swimming. Vicki is also a full time elementary school teacher. She currentl;y teaches first grade at a private school in Everett. She is married, lives in Mukilteo and has raised 3 wonderful sons. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and her very soon to be new Grandma status.
Assistant Coach: Chelsea Olson
This is Chelsea's first year as an "official" Gator team coach. Chelsea was in the coaches training program last summer and proved to be a great addition to the coaching team. Since this time last year, Chelsea has graduated from Monroe High School and is currently completing her first year of undergrad work at Northern Arizona University. She is studying the field of Psychology and Criminology and one day hopes to to obtain her PhD in Psychology. Some fun facts about Chelsea are that she will be turning 19 this summer (make sure to say Happy Birthday), her favorite color is blue, she loves dogs and the 100 and 200 IM are her favorite events. Swimming will always be her passion. The pool is her second home.
